In Postcards From the West Coast the ambition
of the postcard text is to “add” what we want to
have unspoken, rather dream and fantasise about,
and that which at first seems unbearably presumptuous.
At the same time it is pushed back at us and at
the desire to fill in the blanks, seek definite answers,
“violate” the surrounding world and weave it into stories.
